Only 6 hours? Wow ... I'm a heavy user also of mail and text message, I think I'll get the Bold, having a real keyboard is a must. Plus, here in Argentina the carrier that offer's the Bold is quite better than the one's offering the iPhone, so that's has made just my decision I think.
I don't know if they have "Buyers Remorse" with your Argentinean carrier, but if they do I'd say check out both phones for a couple days and make your decision.

Go to Media/Videos and check out the sample videos... Those blew me away, the resolution is literally as good as a Video iPod!

I saw that! Pretty weird

If you're like me and type out complete sentence and long emails throughout the day the iPhone was the most annoying PDA I've ever had. If the typing on the Storm is an improvement over the iPhone it may very well be a better device than the Bold.
EDIT: My 1,000th post!

That's exactly why I want to wait and see what it is like. I type full sentences and long emails all the time and just couldn't get used to the iPhone. I might just bail on it and get the Bold because I don't think I will ever be able to like something other than the full feeling of a push...

I certainly agree with that... For fast-paced industries a 5-15 minute sync schedule is just not acceptable. If you're not getting it real-time a competitor may be.

I was having a little bit of buyers remorse after picking up my iPhone 3G a month ago because I new the Bold would be out. However, it's very functional, and is seamlessly integrated to my Macbook Pro and music for my car.
