Remember the Eddie Griffin Enzo?
As part of the run-up PR-fest for Redline, a schlock-fest of a movie, actor Eddie Griffin "lost control" ( can someone say "publicity stunt?" ) of a $1.5 million Ferrari Enzo and crashed it in spectacularly excruciating fashion. The car suffered major front end damage and most considered it totaled due to the delicate carbon fiber bodywork. Not Texan luxury car repair and salesman Matt Groner. No, Groner figured if he could get his hands on the Enzo, it had a fighting chance. As you can see from the picture gallery below, he was right. Jeez, who knew when we launched the "Save The Enzos" campaign, someone would actually save one?

Remarkable job!
+1 Who would buy a crashed Enzo? I guess there isn't any structural damage to the chassi, but I wonder how much it'll have depreciated after the surgery.

Great repair job he did, good for him!
PS- Have Enzos really appreciate 50% since they came out??

Absolutely. That and then some. Original MSRP - if you were INVITED by Ferrari to buy one - was $650K. But dealer prices were always around $900K.
Barring a McLaren F1, to me, even a wrecked Enzo is still better than any car on the road today.

More like 100%. The average price for an Enzo was around $670,000. Enzos are for sale these days between $1.3MM - $1.5MM.

Good From Far, Far From Good?
Anyone have hi-res shots of the repair work? The carbon tub, etc.? Seems like the kind of thing you'd have to send to Ferrari ...
