Different wheels.
I'm still thinking "kit".
Several things just don't look correct. Additionally, if you own an F40, it's certainly not your only car. Therefore, why drive around a damaged
F40?

I'm quite certain that it wasn't a kit. I've seen plenty of f40's and this one had the presence and made the right noises.
My theory is that the damage occurred shortly before this picture was taken and the owner chose to tape the damaged parts into place until he could get it to the Ferrari dealership, H.R. Owen's was only blocks away.
