Seems pretty right. No USA F40s have the black air boxes, and as far as the Euro ones go, they do seem to be on more of earlier ones then late ones.

Funny thing is Michelotto restored an F40 that had fire damage recently. They rebuilt it to the best standards. It as far as I can remember was a later Euro F40. It had the black air boxes....IMO they do look better.

Definately. Used to have a poster of the Vector Prototype on my wall as a kid. There's a guy in NorCal who brings a yellow one occasionally to our Saturday exotic car meets. Pretty slick interior with the Ostrich leather seats!
