Can you elaborate what you mean by that? Are they loosening restrictions on European cars?

The F40 might be getting old enough to get special treatment.. I don't know.
But I'm sure it's great news for american collectors. The US-spec F40s look terrible compared to the European ones.

At 25 years old, a car becomes exempt from DOT and EPA restrictions. You just have to pay a 2.5% import duty to bring it in to the US.

Thanks for explaining, that makes sense. The first difference that I can think of wold be those black lips on the front bumper and the reflectors. I can't think of other differences at this time.

I think it's just the small round signal up front vs. rectangular (US), lip spoiler, plastic trim above front bumper intakes, plastic trim in rear between bumper and rear clamshell, rectangular signal/reflector on the side of the rear bumper on US version vs. none on the Euro version, Euro version also has embedded reflectors in the the rear bumper.
Interior the seats are different I believe (or were optional in Europe), lexan windows as Jas mentioned.
Jas, what makes the Euro cars lighter?
