Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this specific car is actually in Louisiana, but just registered in Texas and thus wears Texas plates.

Well I think the F40 is more popular for a few reasons, not the least of which being it was the first on many levels. The first production car to top 200MPH, the first of the F40/F50/Enzo anniversary cars, etc. And also there were a lot more produced. 1,315 for the F40 as opposed to the 349 for the F50.
