Ferrari F40 thrown in as closing gift with purchase of Malibu home
#14
I was once offered a free Diablo 6.0 if I bought the guys home for its asking price back before I was home searching.
It wasnt yellow, so I didnt really consider it lol
and the F40 is in the 400-500k range, and 500k may be pushing it. Anyone can ask and list one for 600k+, but what they sell for are completely different numbers, short of the sub 1k mile cars.
F50s are in the 800k field

In this market, doubtful. Maybe two years ago, or down the road they will. But today, I'd say about $500,000 or so. A LM sold a few months back for $1.3 million though.

Some interesting facts about this story:
1. The guy had previously listed the house at $4M then raised it to $4.4M and "threw in" the F40. So he's basically selling the car for $400K, which was probably his purchase price for the car.
2. The house is actually only worth about $2.7M in today's market. So the guy is smoking dope like many other high end home owners today. He bought the house for $1.9M in 2002. So even the $2.7M number may be high; $2.5M may be more likely.
3. If I owned this home, I would have vagin@ coming out of my ears.
