For 2.5, thats a lot of house. Definitely looks like a cool place, and the F40 would just be icing on the cake. It would just be unfortunate if the person buying the house didn't realize the importance of the car.

Do the math. In 2002 the house was worth $1.9M. Normal rate of appreciation in high end areas of LA is around 4% at the high end. Compound that through 2010 and you get $2.6M. These numbers are verified by the comps in that neighborhood.

Not doubting you, just seemed like a nice house in a nice area for that price.

Found it on Redfin when I wasn't looking for it. Think I could manage the commute to Loyola?

2. The house is actually only worth about $2.7M in today's market. So the guy is smoking dope like many other high end home owners today. He bought the house for $1.9M in 2002. So even the $2.7M number may be high; $2.5M may be more likely.

3. If I owned this home, I would have vagin@ coming out of my ears.
No doubt it's overpriced. Super nice area, poor execution given the price point.

Thing about having a nice house is...you have to get them TO your house for them to see it... :P

Not feeling that house at all. It looks primered and unfinished. Maybe he's pulling a Tuuner and jumps ship when payments are starting to hurt too much.
