Nah, it's all good. A lot of performance cars spit fire when you get on the throttle and then let off the gas suddenly. It's just unburned fuel being jettisoned from the cylinders. You notice it a lot more in mid-engined cars because the flames don't have to travel as far to be visible.

That's my $0.02 anyway.
