Why doesn't the Enzo excite?
I'm curious why we all (most of us) have love for the 288 or F40, and even the F50, but it seems the Enzo gets no love. Even compared to the supercars---CGT, Zonda, Macca, etc. It doesn't excite me, and seems to be the case for most on here (referring to Jamie's "pick one" thread).
I've been catching up on FChat and was reading through some Enzo threads, and wasn't particularly excited to see pictures. Like, it's not something I aspire to own.
Any reasons why I'm not alone in this because I can't place my finger on it. It is a good looking car and drives like a beast. But something about it makes it boring to me.

I agree. I think for me I love the engine and sounds, and respect that it is very fast, but for me a supercar must have a manual tranny in it. So it doesn't seem as involving. I bet it is fun, and fast but I agree, I don't inspire to own one. However there is a thread right now with the Enzo and f40 going head to head so people obviously disagree with us.

It excites me in a way different than the excitement I get when thinking of the F40. I would imagine given both cars, a non professional driver could turn a significantly faster lap in an Enzo and come out of the car not feeling as tickled as after a lap in the F40.
I would love an Enzo, which I would actually consider driving daily where my heart could probably only stand to drive the F40 a few times per week.
