a 100 kilos here or there isn't an issue, my point is their target should be 1000. a 1500 kilo car is not a supercar.

the F40 was 1100 kilos, granted more stringent regulations will have to be passed for the new car but it shouldn't be too far off this mark imo.

oh, and i believe its rumored that lambo will be making a handful of sesto's

I agree a good target would be 1000kg. I just don't expect any modern sports car to be that light.

My guess is Ferrari will do what they do best. They'll make a supercar that is spectacularly balanced, and very competent on a track as well as the road. It will be a technical tour de force for Ferrari, and it will be a racer's car.

Lotus, with a huge amount of hard work and a bit of luck, will be back with a range of sports cars to choose from if you want a lighter, more involving car.

Ferrari 458 Spider Set For Frankfurt Debut, Scuderia Due 2013

I'm dying to see what Ferrari does with the "F70" - when are we going to see any real info & pics of this beast?

That is one of the most precise rumors I have heard lately. Can only second everything said, except of V12 NA for Enzo successor, that is still not decided with both options being tested as for now.

It's all just rumors. Unless you work for Ferrari doing R&D I don't believe any of it
