Just wondering why you don't use a 'Porter Cable' polisher? I've heard a lot of Americans praise it, but noticed you don't use one. Is it all just hype?
Since this whole car has clear film, there was no need for machine polishing. The reason I polished the front end was because we removed all the film and there was a lot of imperfections in the paint that I did not like. Our high-end film package includes machine polishing all the surfaces that are being filmed to remove any, or sometimes all, the imperfections prior to film application.

The PC is a good tool, but technology has passed it by. The latest innovation is the FLEX polisher. The FLEX has the correction ability of a rotary and the safety of a PC. This, IMHO, makes the PC obsolete. If you already have a PC, there's nothing wrong with it. But if you don't have a polisher, then the FLEX is a must for any DIYer or professional.

What an amazing difference! Especially under that nose film. Sure takes a lot of patience, well done.

You, my friend, are an artist.

Too bad you live in CA, I need someone like you in Florida.

not to take away from your amazing work but it just makes me happy to see an enzo that's been driven like it was born to be and covered in squashed bugs...

The few clients I have with an Enzo all drive thier cars. I agree...you should drive these cars when you can. No point in letting them sit around and collect dust. Life's too short.

Quick question,

Applying wax on a film has the same effect as on the car's paint?

You cannot apply just any wax to the clear film. Waxes that contain yellow carnauba, silicones, cleaning agents, etc. can damage or discolor the film. For years installers have recommended products such as Plexus or Rejex. Unfortunately, in our observation, these product end up discoloring and hazing the film. Best way to check the product for yellowing is to simply look at the nozzle of the product you're using. If the nozzle has turned yellow, or has a yellowish discoloration, chances are that product can turned the film yellow as well. Certain films can be polished.

The film on this Enzo is ventureshield. We've had quite a bit of issue with ventureshield staying clear. Over time, the film does yellow and turn cloudy. I think it's a combination of exposure to the elements and the care of the film. This Enzo is always gagraged, to my knwoeledge, and we have only used Zymol products on the film. The film does get clayed, polished, and a spray wax called Field Glaze is the only wax I've ever applied.
