FX150 Supercar (Leaked Document)

A leaked document from Ferrari details the specifications of their under-development supercar.

Known internally as the FX150, it is the successor to the Enzo and beneficiary of the FXX program.

Mid/longitudinally-mounted twin-turbo V8 producing 794 HP and 570 lb-ft TQ.
Seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with shift times of 50 milliseconds.
2866 lbs
0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds
Top speed: 242 mph
Released next year at a price of €1,200,000 - €1,300,000.

Of course, it could turn out to be a faked document.

I would think so too, as is the 1350hp veyron.
Seems kind of stupid that such large companies have these kind of supposed "leaks" with "official documents".

It's a form of marketing. The iPhone is the best example. No information whatsoever with hints "leaked" here and there create incredible buzz.

The outrageous horsepower number is what has my alarm bells ringing. If you think back, Ferrari said they were going to keep power around the same or less and cut weight dramatically (Mille Chili concept - "mille chili" means 1000 kilos in Italian).

I see something more along the size of the 430 (in which case the mule makes sense) with a turbocharged powertrain (4.3L w/twin turbos would still make outrageous power).

Not sure if I belive a thing said in that. But a twin turbocharged V8 brings back memories of a certain iconic supercar!
