I have a shot at a 100 mile new example, but really dont need one, but if u guys can convince me hard, I'll think about it. i really dont care so much about limited editions or nothing because i drive my cars hard in the twisties only.

i had a 599 with no HGTE and was really disappointed with its handling, cant get enough of the power but found it lacking in the driving that I do.

Of course local HGTE and GTO owners already told me they are much improved since mine, but i like straight answers from u privileged GTO owners.

To this day, my 599 is the most powerful feeling car i ever owned, it feels massively more powerful than even my CGT or 458, im guessing because of the underwhelmed suspension dynamics.

I like that awesome torque feeling back in the GTO, but i like to know if its handling is as good as a 458, scuderia, or even a 430, and if no, u just saved me some money.

p.s. : I forgot to mention i would much prefer to wait for the 599 replacement with its DCT and 700+ engine than the GTO, because latest and greatest of course, but i never driven a GTO, so u know....

 

I wouldn't do it. I love my GTO, but it's no where near as fast as my Veyron or as good in the canyons as my Lotus.

Test drive the GTO, from there make your choice.

i dont have cash for a veyron and the exige is a little small for me.

dont take in much of what he say, because i dont drive in the rain.
plus he once said my 612 was the greatest ever, the best he said. I know my OTO version was much better than the one he drove, but i need to stick a 599 engine in it to like it as much as he did.
