The California has different duration camshafts for low end torque and a completely different intake and exhaust system.

Just got the official confirmation from my dealer. It is a no go for the 2012 US market vehicles.
Really disappointing. If I did have a non refundable deposit, I would have canceled my order and waited for 2013 production. However, think I will just keep this one a year or so and replace with an updated model.
