Yes, everything is very expensive here, and taxes are around 50%.
I live in the capital, Oslo and it's one of the most expensive cities in the world, a city where a one bedroom 300 sqft apartment will set you back 2000$ to rent a month, a pint of beer is almost 15$. Luckily the wages here are high as well, that's why Norwegians love to travel, almost everywhere we go things are cheaper than back home.

Another upside, as you mentioned, is the girls. We do have some fantastic looking girls here, and they are very "liberated" if you know what I mean

Minimum wage varies, depending on experience and education.
But the lowest is if you have no experience and no education and that is 27$ per hour.
