well,..you really can`t compare it to the newer designs (ML63 etc)
it has the aerodynamics of a cube and the proportions are leaned on the classic MB designs of the 90s...so it`s rather something individual and special which you have to like

Tell you what, for a big car is very fast
I've done loads of test drives in the past, but clearly when you are on your own you can throw the car about a bit more and its really rather good

IMHO, i would bought a 4 porte gts or CLS 63.
