One-Off Ferrari Super America 45 Headed To 2011 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este
In previous years we’ve seen wild supercars like the BMW M1 Concept and Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta unveiled at Italy’s annual Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, and this year will be no different. Confirmed today by the event’s president, Karl Baumer, a special one-off Ferrari designed and built by the guys at Pininfarina will be unveiled.
The new car will carry the official title of Ferrari Super America 45 and has been commissioned by a customer in New York (Peter Kalikow). The only other details we have on the car is that it will feature a 6.0-liter powerplant and a convertible bodystyle, suggesting that it will likely be based on the current 599 GTB Fiorano or possibly the limited edition SA Aperta, which is already an open-top model.
