Recap: The 2012 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este

The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is one of the world's most significant automotive events, celebrating the beauty of historic cars and modern day one off concepts, in a completely non-commercial atmosphere. The lavish grounds of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este, one of the world's leading hotels, and the glistening waters of Lake Como, play host to this must see automotive spectacular.

At the event the public is a key element, rewarding participants with applause and their votes. Important to note, the most traditional prize of the Concours, the Coppa d’Oro, is decided by a public vote.

"We experienced a high-calibre event with a unique field of competitors. We are particularly delighted at the splendid turnout of almost 6,000 visitors on Sunday," Said Karl Baumer, President of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and Director of BMW Group Classic.
