Last year in Maranello the 458 in the museum was painted in pearl yellow. How come it is not a color option on the config? I've seen the car in most of the colors and it looks best in this one...

Kolory dostępne w konfiguratorze to na pewno nie jest, że tak powiem ostateczna dostępna paleta. Nawet w Polsce jest 599GTO w kolorze Bianco Fuji (perłowo biały), a nie ma go w konfiguratorze. Ciekawe czy był zamawiany poprzez warszawski salon.
Problemem jest to, że zamówienie takiego koloru opóźnia wykonanie auta często aż o kilka miesięcy (no i wiadomo, że taka opcja tania też nie jest, na innym forum ktoś wspomniał że ten perłowo żółty kosztuje 11tys funtów).

Yes the 599 GTO bianco fuji was ordered from the Warsaw salon. Second hand knowledge from a 458 owner in Krakow.

There are a number of triple-layer paint options available -- you are referring to Giallo Tristrato which is special order as opposed to Giallo Modena (the standard option) -- Bianco Fuji is triple-layer Pearl White -- these special order options cost $20,000 to $25,000

 

Of course it's available. They'll paint it purple with pink polka dots if you have the dough.
