F430 Novitec Scud at Global Tuner Grand Prix

Having never driven a Novitec's supercharged 430, much-less a supercharged Scud with the max bhp kit, I had no idea what to expect.

For the first few run sessions, i thought, wow, this is a really sorted kit, great linear power, very drivable, smooth and felt strong all the way to the red line.

I expected more bottom end and less top end as is normally the case with superchargers, but the system was really a compliment to the factory power band, shifting was perfect, and it pulled like a freight train up top.

3rd session if the weekend, we topped off with 97 octane unleaded, as up to this point, we were on California's finest 91 octane junk fuel.
WHOLEY SMOKES, seriously, the car became almost un-driveable it had so much motor, I mean honestly, there is no way it did not pick up another 75 to 100bhp. From the exit of turn 2 to the entry of turn 3, the tires were lit up the whole way, shifting and all, could not get traction, just sideways and laughing the whole time. I came out of turn 11 behind any car at the event and passed them at will, it was really fun to be able to swing that big of a stick with a 4.3 litter motor.

This is one seriously fast car, WAY faster than anything I have driven as a street car this side of a Veyron. I hate to say it, but it would leave my CGT in it's wake.

Nice work Novitec...well sorted and works seamlessly with all the other factory systems, thank you for this experience.
