599 GTO interpretation from the french Sport auto.

Just received my french mag Sport Auto, and the "scoop" is in, here is their anticipation before release of the 599 GTO.

Here are anticipated the specs of the beast :
700 hp v12
350km/h vmax

Not to be unveiled at Geneva but @ the Pekin auto salon later in April.
Those pics must be very close of the final model because Sport auto is very well known mag in Europe with very close relationship with the car makers since 1960's.

I dont think it will has the aggressive winglets on the lower roof panel though, shame we won't see it this coming week at Geneva!

I wish the french are right but I doubt that. The rims are wrong, no winglets, no extra vents behind front wheels. No tricolore livry. These are firwst generations ceramic brakes, the GTO has second generation. Also the wheeldonuts are missing. Max 670 bhp, max speeds 335 km/h (speedlimiter).

I hope it takes a lot of cues from the 599XX but I don't think the winglets will stay in production form either.

Looks good. Much more aggressive than the 'standard' 599

Here's how the 599 should have been done from the start!

I am absolutely loving this car. Maybe more so than the 458.
