BMW 1M Coupe AQuartz Application & Detail
Just completed yesterday(9-3-2011) a brand new "Valencia Orange" 1M coupe, customer who owns this car has the "Eye" of a detailer and wanted the best correction along with upgraded durability to go with it.
As the car was going to the guys @ Premier I prepped all the areas to be covered in film.....
At the start after the wash, clay step performed but there was very little fallout(Nice for a change).
As the front quarter was not entirely being covered I corrected the partial area that would be.
A few areas had some scratches which I hit with a few passes of Megs D300 and the 5.5 cutting disc.
After checking the finish with all my lights I pulled it out in the sun to see the finish with no LSP before heading over with the car to Premier for them to work thier magic.
At Premier.
Applying AQuartz to the windshield.
Then on the clearfilm.
Finished pics with two coats of AQuartz on the paint, looks like it is under glass(Which is exactly what it is...).
Car is now dialed in..................

I can see myself in something like that!
Having Valenica orange to begin with is fantastic but having it detailed by someone who can take it to the next level is just bonkers, awesome work that car will be gleaming for a long time!
