Need help with an electric polisher
I have been looking at getting the Porter Cable 7424 and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this product.
Also, most of the kits online seem to come with foam pads for applying wax, but I havent seen anything for buffing off the wax. Is it just a matter of getting a cover for the buffing pad, or is better to get a replacement buffer pad?
Thanks.

I'm far from an expert, but save yourself some work and get a FLEX. More expensive, but polishing is PITA as it is. No sense in making it harder for yourself. Dunno if you've ever seen this vid, but it's shows the difference.

Buffing off the polish is routinely done with a clean microfiber cloth by hand. If you wanted, you could just cover the buffing pad with a microfiber and go over the car with you polisher.
