Ferrari 599 Corrective Detail

Recently completed job, this "New" to my client vehicle came from the Chicago area. The interior of this beautiful Ferrari was in great shape, however the exterior had the usual "Black car issues" with deep RIDS, sand scratches and hologram buffer trails.

After a thorough wash/decon the vehicle correction commenced, brought Tony Ito in who worked with me as our detailer at my shop I used to be a GM at(Performance Art) as my schedule is filled up nicely.

Tony backed his "Transit Connect Van into the shop as he likes to use "His gear" to work with lol.

Getting readings from the PDG.

Examples of deep RIDS.

Sand scratch tracers from "Marenello"..............bella!!!.

Interior being "Itosized".

Right side of trunk area with deep scratches corrected.

Someone "Keyed" the right rear quarter.................for which the penalty should be severe imo.

Wet sanded.

I am always asked for readings before and after sanding, here you go.

Corrected.

Readings after sanding/compounding.

More marring.

Corrected.

Marring and water spot etching................my favorite!!.

Dry/spotted and marred up.

After heavy compounding correction.

Marring on lower passenger door.

After.

What is there to say................

Making improvement.

Other side.

After.

Before.

After.

50/50 pic of the rear right quarter.

Before.

After.

One of the most challenging aspects of this correction was the badly marred clearfilm.

During correction.

Exhaust tips were "Blueing" and crusty.

Cutting through the "Patina".

Nearing completion.

Interior pics.

It looks like there is some wax residue in the rear parking sensors

Great turn out.

Great turn out.

Not so...............the bumper was re-sprayed and along with sand scratches left behind the shop buffed the edges down to the primer on the entire radius of every sensor.

After 32 hours and the fact that I have a steamer to correct a issue like the one you brought up cars just do not leave my shop with wax in the cracks lol.
