Is it better to wash youre car with hot or cold water? Just a crazy thought

I've read most soaps work optimally above 65*F specifically. To an extreme the hotter the better just as your dishwasher, steam cleaners and washing machine work.

i have a moen hot and cold faucet at my house and its great. No more cold water in the winter while washing the car. Here it is for anyone interested. Moen 12" outdoor faucet

Obviously you need hot and cold lines run to the area where the faucet is located.

I would think that hot water would strip the wax on your car.
