Need Some Wheel Advice

I just got some new wheels. They are HRE 545R's that need a little TLC. They are brushed with polished lips. Here is my plan of attack Is there anything that I am missing or any advice you guys can give me. The wheels have no tires on them right now so it should be too bad to clean them up.

Step 1)
I am going to use a foam cannon with some griots garage car wash and P21S TAW mixed together to give the wheels a good bath.

Step 2)
I am going to soak the wheels with P21S wheel cleaning gel and use various brushes to to get into the small nooks.

Step 3)
Dry the wheels then clay them to get off any thing that the wash missed.

Step 4)
I am going to tape off the face and use a high speed rotary on the lips to bring them back to a good shine.

Step 5)
Here is where I am unsure. What can I do to help the brushed faces of these wheels? I have no idea how to go about the faces of the wheels.

Lastly, I am going to put a few coats of Swisswax Autobahn on the wheels.

You need to find out first if the Brushed center is clear coated.

Wouldn't rubbing some aluminum polish on the inside of the wheels tell me if they are clear coated? If the MF towel turns black they arent clear coated.

Hello Crazy,

The brushed finish will be clear coated, but you may want to give me a ring first. Let's figure out how old these wheels are. You can look at the backpad of the wheel and get me the serial numbers. I can look everything up and give you some recommendations from there.

I look forward to hearing from you.

My direct line is listed below.

Just spoke with Guy at HRE. I learned that the wheels have clear coated faces so I will make sure to mask off the face before polishing these.
