Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale correction
Longtime client who moved to Hawaii sold his previous 360(Giallo/nero) an picked up a 360 Stradale. Here are the pics from the old car's first correction in early 2005.
Rob a tech I was working with at the time installing the Tubi carbon drip rails and air boxes
Engine bay after with the "Carbonium"
Jewelling the finish
Now the "new" car.....
CG Diablo wheel gel dwelling on the finish
Cleaning the wheels
When my client bought the car it had the incorrect finish logo caps, so I put the newer correct finish caps on(6061 aluminum)
Chrome finish on silver powdercoat ummmm no...
Cap removed
Replaced with correct logo cap
Working the finish with the Festool DA polisher
Before dressing tires I like to remove all traces of dirt, silicon oils, ozonation etc... before dressing the tires. Here is the tire before
Removing the aforementioned dirt of the tires
After, tire is clean of all traces of dirt on the sidewall even in the intricate sidewall lettering(which pirelli tires have quit a bit of)
The Carbon door shells had quite a bit of light scratching on them, so I utilized new CG compounds to correct them
Working in the compound with PC
Door shells after correction
As usual the trim was dirty and dried out, cleane then dressed the trim with Gloss-it TRV
Trim now has a satin matte look
Cleaned the cowl area thoroughly, and dressed all the boot seals as well
Interior pics
All done and ready to go outside
