Recommendations for cleaning a soft top ?

Seems like a simple proposition, but are there any tips for cleaning the soft top on modern convertibles ? I have the 16M specifically in mind...dark black cloth top.

thanks !

try and avoid soaps.

use a regular 3m lint brush to get rid of sticky fuzz, and dirt.

tape off your windows and paint with blue masking tape.

put a couple layers of raggtopp protection for cloth on the top. wait a few minutes between applications.

use raggtopp cleaner if top really is dirty, on your new 16m, I doubt it is necessary.

I did this a year ago, and the water still beads like crazy on my top. Run a lint brush over it every now and then.
