How imporant is appearance to you!

I usually dress down (grunge)...with ripped jeans and a t-shirt (Neimans--lol)..I don't like to "appear" to have money because it will just lead to a gun in my back and my wallet/watch stolen. Lately, the scrubs (maybe from Katrina-lousiana folk) have increased the crime rate here in Houston. It's funny because a very wealthy friend of mine recently took me out to the Palm restaurant and he met me wearing a hawaii shirt- cargo shorts and some sandals lol. They gave him a vip room suprisingly. I guess that black card helped....

I like to look good and comfortable like you guys. I'll dress up for business and be biz casual for non formal meetings. Typically jeans and a polo for me. A lil more dressy would be a dress shirt with jeans or khakis and a polo.
Shoes can be KC loafers, Pumas, Nikes, Sketchers, or Aldos.
First impressions are important though if you want to make connections and meet new people to date. As well as, just stepping up your look, image, and standards of dress.
You never know who you'll meet.

Big fan of nice shoes (Ferragamo) and a nice watch. The rest for me is usually RL button downs and cargo short/jeans. I do have a fondness for RL Purple Label and Brioni shirts. Like Choke, I am a big fan of the khaki chinos and nice shirt for business. In the gym its Under Armour and sweats.

GAP jeans, T-shirt, Merrells. Every day. Staying home. Eating out. Travelling. Soccer with the kids. It doesn't matter.
In summer time I switch to board shorts for a few months. Then back to jeans. It's really fairly uncomplicated, and doesn't require much of my limited mental resources to navigate.
I look like the unemployed bum that I am.

Holy crap. you people care more about what you look like than I do!
I just shower, put on my face, brush my hair if I have time (super long hair that goes down to the end of my back tangles easily so it's a hassle to brush...) and throw on whatever is comfortable. If I'm not going out, I'm usually in a huge comfy tshirt or sweater and sweats..... (don't really have that many clothes either because I don't like shopping.)

Guys like gals that can dress and vice versa. Loking good for work and partying is also a must. Enuff said

i have never been a fashion trendsetter. in my corporate days i would wear italian suits, but now i'm fine in a pair of khakis and a button down polo. on the weekends it's usually cargo shorts, a sleeveless t-shirt and some slippers. at this point, i have no one to impress so i try to be as comfortable as i can.

This is true, the same thing happened to me. It's silly, though, since if you are in a "sweet whip" you shouldn't need to dress nicely because people will still get the idea that you're not a bum.
