When can we expect the release of this car? No sooner than september?

My uncle is in the process of ordering a Cayenne, although he's interested to find out more about the Macan first. Would you wait for the Macan? Also, does anyone know when the facelifted Cayenne is due? Thanks!

 

A September unveiling seems to be the most likely possibility although I wish it were sooner since I'm really looking forward to this car. I took delivery of a fantastic custom-ordered Cayenne S in July, but I'm seriously considering downsizing to a Macan Turbo if the car looks good and the specs can best the Cayenne. You'll sacrifice cargo room and interior space, but you still get a fantastic utility vehicle with what should be sharp driving dynamics befitting the Porsche brand. If the Cayenne handles as brilliantly as it does, imagine how a smaller car will.

Speaking of the Cayenne, it will have been on the market for three solid years since its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. Since a generation generally sells for seven years, expect a mild facelift [modest power bump from 15-30 horsepower, new front/rear bumpers, new headlights, taillights with the LED-bar accent light seen on new Porsche vehicles, more interior color options and some small technology upgrades like a bigger PCM screen] sometime early next year.
