These have been arround for a while and I had one when it first came out, although a great VW engine, it's not a high performance diesel engine as someone said, I definitely would take it, but only in an Audi or VW SUV.
IMO, the Cayenne needs the in-house V8 for that great Porsche feel, My pick would be the new GTS.

It seems that the Cayenne Diesel which will be imported in North America will not have the last generation TDI as in Europe ...
But rather the first generation! Just under HP and with a somewhat larger consomation ...
This is a very nice vehicle, capable of tact heavy load (trailer + GT3 RS) to go on the tracks ....
