Well, first you have to lose your tire pull virginity.

Hyperbaric chamber is the only way to go. It prevents the bends

I recommend storing them in a 45% saline solution. What ever you do, do not exceed 49%.

Listen to at surfer, I exceeded 49% salinity once. Not only did I lose my tire pull virginity, but my dog no longer pees on fire hydrants. This is a serious concern because, because he learned how by watching me.

Hi,

I've always just plastic wrapped them individually and stacked them horizontally, with no air in them.

I am no expert, but I've never had a problem with deterioration.

Cheers,
Nik

In all honesty, I would just pull them and stack them up, maybe some cardboard between each to protect the wheels.

Also, it couldn't hurt to let the air out but make sure you refill the tires before putting them back on the car. Don't let the weight of the car rest on an empty tire.

But won't the cardboard dissolve in the saline solution? That'd be a mess to clean up.
