Drove the Panamera Turbo S

I forgot to post about my experience with the Panamera Turbo S.

Drove it just over a week ago thanks to the great sales person we buy all our Porsche from.

Car had just over 20 miles on the odometer and I was the third person to drive it

Car did not have PCCB's unfortunately, but none the less.

I did drive the Panamera Turbo previously and I don't really notice too much difference overall, until you step on the accelerator

The car lights up all 4 wheels and has torque steer on a AWD car like I have never felt before! This thing is silly fast for a saloon. Gave me the same feeling of acceleration as the 911 Turbo S! The only thing that was disappointing, was the exhaust note. I understand this is supposed to be an executive saloon, but a little aural pleasure wouldn't hurt. Even in sport mode and with the sports exhaust, I couldn't really tell the difference to the stock system to be honest.

This car was also equipped with the Burmeister sound system and what a difference over the Bose! If you can afford it, I would take this option. I am not one that is big on sound, but after hearing the difference - it is just phenomenal!

All in all a great car and as expected from a Porsche. Would take this over any fast saloon on the market hands down.

To be honest, I have no idea. I shifted the deposit over when details of the 4.0 was made official. The same happened when the GT2RS was released. Everytime I try to order a Panamera, some new limited edition 911 comes out

I don't have any space as it is. Building is progressing extremely slow!

Not quite exactly, but pretty much.
Porsche says the power bumps are largely attributable to improved turbochargers with titanium-aluminum turbine wheels, as well as modified engine mapping in the computer. Porsche explains that the titanium-aluminum alloy reduces the weight of the compressor wheel in the turbo, and in turn reduces the energy required to spin the turbos, resulting in more airflow.

Yea I hate when that happens. But I heard there will be a 911 Panamera limited edition soon so then you can get it all in one

Sounds great about the Pana TTS Mike, the "normal" TT is stupidly fast for a saloon so I can imagine it is quite an experience.

I had a little street acceleration run against a Panny Turbo a while back.

My Turbo Coupe is REALLY fast and heavily modified.

That damn Panny stayed with me longer than any other car ever has. Longer than any Lambo or Z06.

I don't think I have ever been so shocked.

Good thing it didn't get by you or else you would've had to see that hideous rear end!

Couldn't agree more. Wouldn't take if it was free. I would feel compelled to drive it and once seen in it I would be embarrassed. I will drag anyone in my S65. Bring it on Ginger. Come on up to the classy part of CA and I'll prove it.
