Paint to sample is still 3K. The Pearl White is a three stage process which requires multiple runs through the paint booth and the curing process. Germany also taxes the manufacturers on emissions. The Pearl has a much higher metallic level which Porsche is taxed on. Therefore the 12K paint job.

Too bad there are so many pana-haters out there. I think for the same price, I would buy a nicely optioned used 997 Turbo for sport, and a 2011 Panamera for travel ... oh wait ... that's exactly what I have done ...

that's a strange way to see that...
most people it is clearly spelled out - yours for instance (munich), or fort lauderdale, or whatever... doesn't actually require mousing over it.
