+1000, but at the same time it is getting a little silly.

I don't know. There's something about the Panamera and Cayenne that make me love them. Maybe it's the Carrera GT inspired design of the Panamera, or how the Cayenne proved itself in rallying. I'm sure the Cajun and Pajun would be better cars to drive than the Panamera and Cayenne, but I just think this will move Porsche too mainstream. One thing I love about Porsche is that they are a sports car manufacturer, and the Cayenne and Panamera stay true to this concept. BMW and Mercedes, however, build a bunch of ugly heavy over packed, over powered hunks of metal, that are very dull in comparison to Porsche's offerings.
I feel that if the C/P-ajun are made, they will move to being more like BMW and Mercedes. I really hope that I'm proved wrong. Porsche, you guys make sportscars, we don't need yet another mainstream German luxury car maker. If you must build these cars, please use the profits to build even better sportscars. If that means I'll see Cajuns and Pajuns everywhere, so be it. As long as your sportscars aren't diluted like the rest of the Germans' "sportscars" (not you R8). Something is telling me though that the Cajun and Pajun are going to be amazing cars, and will allow Porsche to build better sportscars (if these rumors about the 991 are true, my suspicions have been confirmed!).

This is one Porsche along with the 918 and 928 replacement that I am actually excited to see....unlike the Cajun which I could care less about. I think everyone on this forum can respect the performance of a Panamera but maybe the styling just isn't quite right for them. This smaller sedan (think M5) has the potential to be not only an M5 competitor but also a visual success as well if they do a "coupe" style 4 door. I almost bought an M5 a few years ago but I personally am not a fan of BMW interiors. Guys lets imagine a 600hp Twin Turbo V8 with that Porsche interior most all of us love in a sexy coupe style 4 door. Plus with all the money Porsche makes off the car they can keep building us "real" race derived sports cars.
