Panamera Porsche to hit Indian roads by April 2009

LEADING GERMAN luxury car makers, Porsche will be soon rolling out another model in India called Panamera by 2009. The name was registered at the same time, it registered Cayman. After undergoing all the testing, the cars seems to be ready to hit the roads.
Reliable sources revealed that the model will be unveiled in Geneva Motor Show in 2009 and will be seen on the roads by April of the same year. The dealer networks of the company have also spread to Hyderabad and Bangalore, bringing up the total of network dealers to four and the bookings will open in another two to three months.
This four-door, rear-wheel drive sedan will be competing with Mercedes Benz CLS in India. The base model will carry the price tag of Rs90,00,000 and will go up to up to rupees two crore for the array of six variants to be introduced.
A peep into the technical details revealed that it is to be powered by Cayenne’s 3.6L V-6 and a 4.5L V-8 engine.
