Finally Porsche has confirmed the first international show, where the public can see the Panamera in person. Porsche Panamera will make its world debut at a press conference on 19 April, and will be on public display from 20 – 28 April at Auto Shanghai 2009 in China. There will be two cars on display, a naturally aspirated V8, and a twin turbocharged V8.

Porsche Panamera will go on sale end of the summer and will feature engines with either six or eight cylinders covering a power range from 300 – 500 bhp. Power is transmitted via six-speed manual gearbox or new seven-speed Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) (Double-Clutch) Gearbox. V6 and naturally aspirated V8 come in standard with rear-wheel drive. Turbocharged V8 features Porsche’s Traction Management (PTM) with extra-light, active all-wheel drive.
