Just got back from Testing the new Cayenne Turbo and S @ Barber Motorsports Park

there was a silver gts parked next to a brand new S at training and it is nearly impossible to say, from the outside, that the new S looked better... the GTS is very classy and resale values are showing that... Other than exterior looks the new S is remarkably superior.

saw a few new Cayennes here as well...
looks wise the GTS beats the new gen Cayenne easily
but the new Cayenne Interior is simply sexy!
Better than any other SUV Interior out there
Chris, you are a very conservative guy when it comes to buying cars...anything German in your blood??

I did some online builds last night of the Panamera 4 and Cayenne S - similarly equipped, the Panny was $86K and the Pepper was $81K. I'm thinking the Cayenne would be the better pick since we don't have a truck and the versatility (plus superiority in the snow) would be good. I'll keep you guys informed... Of course it's all moot if we move back to SoCal. Then it'll be time to order my wife's Cayman.

My wife won't approve the sand interior... She gets the final say. I did search Porsche's CPO GTS listings and found some candidates. I really love the way the GTS looks, but the new Cayenne interior is great. It's a tough call.
Thanks for pointing that GTS out - it looks sweet.

Does she want to make the car more comfortable? Traditionally when i have a client that wants air suspension they only want to make the car more comfortable... then get Air suspension.
PASM does the same that it does in a 911... makes the suspension a bit stiffer getting rid of a bit of the body roll.
PTV basically breaks the inside rear wheel in a turn making the car turn in better... I might be a lone on this one but i feel that it is more of a safety option than a performance option.

Drove a PTV/PDCC Turbo. Entering the freeway from a sharply curved onramp I broke the back end loose in a power-on oversteer. Left it hanging out there for a few seconds just for the joy of the experience in a 4700lb SUV. Thought the salesman was going to wet himself, but he was grinning like a schoolgirl.
Normally I don't come close to driving like that on the street, and I certainly am not out to scare anybody, but when the turbo spooled up, it was all fun and games.
Grandma and Grandpa have no need for PTV, but for any performance oriented driver it is a "must have".
PTV FTMFW in my world.
