iPod & battery drain

iPod & battery drain

Will leaving my iPod connected (via s-video like connector & USB) in compartment drain the battery after switching the engine off?

It will be a hassle to turn it on/off everytime I get in/out of the car.

I've never had a problem and my ipod is always connected. i say go ahead!
