Panamera and what else in your garage?

This is to those who have or will in the future purchase a Panamera....What else do you drive? I dont like to be high profile 24/7 and I dont NEED another car (No Family) but wanted to have another option so im not driving my panamera to the grocery store... or is that its intended purpose? All opinions welcomed..

If you don't have a family, why bother with the Panamera in the first place? There are a lot of faster, better looking cars for the same price. It's just so ugly that I can't understand why anyone would buy one unless they had a family.

Panamera is my 2nd P-car

I have a 2001 Boxster S. It is NOT -- and never HAS been -- a daily driver. In fact, I used to avoid taking it out in the rain! OTOH, I did take it to the track quite a few times (although it's been over 2 years since I've done so). I'm emotionally attached to it (first Porsche) so I don't think I'll ever sell it. My daily driver has been a 2000 Maxima, which (in about 2 weeks) will be driven almost exclusively by my 16 1/2 year old stepdaughter. My wife leases an Audi Q7; when the lease is up next September we will NOT replace it. I intend to drive the Panamera mostly . . . although I work at home, so I rarely drive during the week. I'll probably be coming up with all sorts of excuses to go places. (And starting next September, my wife will probably drive the Boxster daily -- to the train, which she takes into work.) That's probably way more information than you expected. But I think the Boxster is (finally) getting a worthy stable-mate.

I need a full size sedan for space and the utility option of being able to throw stuff in the back....

I've had a 7 series and s class in past. I was considering a 430 but didn't really fall in love with it and the fact that the turbo is 3.8 0-60 sold me.... I sometimes go on weekend trips with my gf too... I'm tired of my coupe n having to bring my seat up if someone wants to come along in the backseat....

Also what are the alternatives to a panamera turbo in ur opinion?

You did not fall in love with the F430,so you went for the Panamera instead?
that does not make any sense to me....2 completely different cars for different purposes..like comparing apples and oranges

why are you shy of driving your Panamera to the grocery etc?

imo it`s one of its purposes to haul stuff/people from A to B

It's all about 'percieved value' ECB. For what ever Datbol's reasons are; Datbol perceived the panny a better value at the time versus the 430.

I see this all the time. client comes in to look at car A; leaves with car B. All that matters is that they enjoys the car.

Datbol- whats catching your fancy these days? How about a C2S coupe? Or, something different- a C63 AMG?

To make it simple I needed a larger car but didnt want to sacrifice performance....Also I dont drive during the week so wouldnt need more than 1 car but could buy one if I wanted to so a Panamera was a better all around vehicle than a F430...

Welp; if I can be of any assistance, please let me know. Any 1 of those 3 choices would be great additions to the family.
