Panamera and what else in your garage?

I need a full size sedan for space and the utility option of being able to throw stuff in the back....
I've had a 7 series and s class in past. I was considering a 430 but didn't really fall in love with it and the fact that the turbo is 3.8 0-60 sold me.... I sometimes go on weekend trips with my gf too... I'm tired of my coupe n having to bring my seat up if someone wants to come along in the backseat....
Also what are the alternatives to a panamera turbo in ur opinion?

hadnt seen this b4 i posted but, a 430... is incredibly high profile, imo a A8L blows a panamera out of the f*ckin water in terms of ride, int, ext, and although that comment will ensure a flame post or two, just go test drive one and prepare to be shocked... the other thing i like about them (just sold my 06) is unlike the benz shit boxes they are very subtle and low profile and will likely make it to your destination before having some bizarre electrical catastrophe

We were checking out a Panamera to replace an S-class also. The car really has a presence and the interior is beautiful. Definitely have to see it in person. The Panamera here would be the daily, but for a fun car our 997 has been nothing but fun. The car is extremely reliable and could easily be driven on a daily basis, but also is great just to have for beautiful weekends.
As for alternatives to the turbo, the Quattroporte GTS would be a great alternative to look at, as well as maybe an S63 or perhaps a used Flying Spur if you are looking for something different than what you've had.
Definitely let us know what you end up getting and welcome to the team!

funny...I think the panamera is better than those cars obviously
imo as a previous owner of an 02' E65, 07' W221, 09 Cayenne S and 05' E64 I think the Panamera incorporates all of the previous cars and adds the high end pure performance factor in to make a "super sedan"... I look at the car and think wow Porsche was targeting me in designing and developing this car. Really..I have been looking for that well balanced car and really thought I found it in the current CL but when I read all the reviews and went over it in my head it just made sense. With that being said Im not too comfortable in making it my sole car but am sort of leaning in that direction...thats why I came to you guys to get your opinion.

I've had 4 clients come out of S550 / S63 into the Panamera 4S and Turbo. Adversley we've also had a few clients come out of Flying Spurs and get (back into) a S550.
The S, for what its worth- is really the benchmark $100 luxo sedan. As good as the flying spur is; it does NOT drive as nice as a S Class. Interior the flying spur is gorgeous. hands down. But is it worth DOUBLE the S?
Most clients agree that's its not. That having been said I'm a huge fan of the Flying Spur. Gorgeous car.
The S63 is one of those cars that really shocks me. It's just fantastic all around. On the track it did better then the Mas- with out a doubt. infact the AMG's held their ground against the panny.
The BMW 7 series held well around the track but I think it falls short of luxury and overall 'greatness' as compared to the S Class and Panny. I know most will say I'm biased, okay, sure- but I'm a huge gear head and I've owned BMW's in the past. And am a HUGE bimmer fan. Just not if I was going for a luxury (large) sedan.
e92 M3? X6? 335i? M5? Yep. 7 series? nope.
