Carbon Fiber Trim?

Should I add it? It is going to be around $4k for everything (steering wheel, dashboard trim strip, door trim panels, lower center console, rear center console trim and shift lever.

I am on the fence if it is really worth it. It would look nice but just not sure if it is really worth adding at this point.

Yeah 4k is a lot for that mod. Do you plan on keeping it forever? If not, when you sell it you won't get much for the mod from the buyer.

I think this really comes down to personal preference. As far as carbon fibre as an interior accent, it is purely asthetic and does not make a performance difference. On a sports car I love it and it is throughout my B55 and my 997TT. I did not spec my 997TT or I would have gotten every carbon part that they offer. If you like the way it looks, then go for it. Personally, I think it looks awesome and worth every penny.

Hell, I even have it on my Ducati!

Ok, so it is a pass. I knew it wouldnt add any value to the car and I do not keep it long enough to justify the price.

Are any mods even worth it? I was also considering doing an flash along with new exhaust and bypass.

You should do whatever makes you happy. For me, I like to do mods that I can remove and sell when I get rid of the car eventually (which seems to happen pretty often). So sinking money into it that I can't get back out is hard for me to do.

How about wheels and exhaust? Alpine 997 just put some 22's on his Cayenne and they look great:

The only mod that you might see some return on when you sell the car is a nice set of wheels. You won't get your money back on any other mods. Trust me. I have been through this with several cars.

Are you looking at after-market carbon or is it from the factory? If it is from the factory, I think that it could help with resale. Aftermarket stuff would not.

It would be factory carbon. I am thinking about wheels, I would rather put the money towards performance upgrades but if I can find the right set, I might go for that.

Is yours a Cayenne turbo or S ?

I've got the S and added an ecu upgrade, by pass pipes, muffler, bmc filters it added not much but its faster than the new Cayenne S and GTS on the top end 262kmh.
