I'll tell you, I bought my 997TT with 900 miles on it from a dealer. The carbon fiber trim was one of the things that prompted me to buy the car. If the car had not had it - or if I had been purchasing from a private seller who had added it aftermarket - I might not have purchased the car. Just something to think about. Factory carbon was a big selling point for me.

Most enthusiasts like to do their own mods. That is why it is hard to recuperate money spent on modifications on resale. The buyers who appreciate the modifications want a stock model so that they can do their own.

Sounds exciting! Good luck with the project.

It is a TTS so adding the little upgrades should hopefully make difference.

This post is now making me want to go all out and do the CF. I think I would rather do the CF then new wheels since finding a good pair that will look good on the Caynne is hard enough and I might as well do the exhaust and engine upgrades since you can never have enough power.

Anyone have an opinion of the Fabspeed vs Cargraphic bypass pipes?

Fabspeed bypass and get the Tubi muffler sounds much deeper than the Fabspeed mufflers.

Are you looking at after-market carbon or is it from the factory? If it is from the factory, I think that it could help with resale. Aftermarket stuff would not.
Our parts help resale better than any Porsche factory carbon, since all the carbon is done the same way. They only way to tell ours isn't factory is the fact that it doesn't yellow or delaminate like the factory stuff

If you are looking at any modifications from a resale perspective, you will never get your money back.

I can vouch for MA Carbon. Their stuff is great - OEM quality.

What concerns me more is the install.

MA Carbon does make some amazing carbon pieces.

I would personally rather do a set of wheels over the carbon interior.... Feel free to contact me if you need any help with either...

Thanks Tony! Now we have to figure out what we can carbonize in the Scud. If you end up getting an Enzo we have a carbon handbrake for you.
