Ferrari F599 HGTE Radar Install by AI Deisgn

Ferrari F599 HGTE:
This project on the newest F599 model took a bit of uncommon care. In a cabin chock-a-block
with function x10 at every turn, it's rather difficult to come up with a proper integration plan for
radar/laser protection. In this case, the 9500ci was selected, and the rear view mirror was
chosen as the diplay location.

Special consideration was taken in fitting the 9500ci display inside the newly reshaped "lip"
of the rear view mirror of the F599. This choice offers great visibility, and a fully integrated
"built in" appearance.

I'm always amazed at how clean these integrations look. The attention to detail in fitting every component makes it look perfect in the car.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Unfortunately these are the best pictures I could find of the mirror. The 9500ci is located behind smoked black acrylic, which was integrated into the OEM mirror.

Appreciate it. Since an in-mirror display is not an option in this vehicle without losing the auto-dimming feature, this was the next best option without having to hack up the interior, especially since all of the trim is CF and very expensive to replace.

With respect to the 599, we have been able to locate radar displays in other parts of the interior in the past however. If anyone is interested, there should be some pictures on our website under recent work.
