Custom R8 Radar detector install

Dad just had his R8 kitted out with the Passport GPS radar detector along with the laser jammers. I was very impressed with the quality of the install. It was done by a place here in RI called MP's. They do all the work for Inskip who is the local luxury car mega-mart.

Also had 3M clear bra installed and tinted the windows 35%.

Rear laser jammers. One side is apparently a dummy as my father wanted it to look symmetrical. Although standing next to the car you would barely notice them unless someone pointed them out.

Thats it!

I would assume by your comment that they do not use them in Bahrain, but in the US is is becoming increasingly more common for officers to use laser-based "radar guns" to determine speed. While radar jammers are illegal, laser jammers are not (maybe in some states, not sure). What it does is scrambles the signal to give you some time to slow down a bit.
