My new Boxster Spyder

I first drove a Boxster Spyder at the Porsche Silverstone facility. Fell in love straight away, but my guy at OPC Silverstone persuaded me that I'd struggle to live with one. Hasn't stopped me wanting one though. Anyway, I now have one. Spotted a lovely silver one at OPC Wilmslow and did a deal - car was originally specced by Porsche GB as a car to showcase the model and be shown at all dealerships with a silver 550.

As this car was specced by Porsche Great Britain, it has PCCB, alcantara interior, manual sportshift... Lovely spec and very little use. Got it home yesterday and absolutely thrilled with it so far. Looks great next to my ex-Magnus Walker 1966 911 SWB!

Seeing the car in daylight for the first time... Very happy.

Wow, always loved the Spyder, yours looks fantastic especially with your classic 911!

(Incidentally, I worked with you previously with e25 and POD Point stuff, Erik never told me you were such a car nut!)

Hey Tim. I remember... We didn't work with é25 for the budgets! My passion for cars meant we'd do the work anyway... Good times.

Do it soon, prices for cars here in the UK have already started to rise... Hate the term, but it's a future classic I think. In the meantime, it's a great drive!
