My 2013 Riviera Blue Boxster S

Thank you, and I have another question regarding the doors: again, in Full Leather Interior your doors should have this big long meta/shiny strip - above door handles (stock door trim option with full leather interior). But, your doors have this strip in leather. Did you specifically ask Porsche for this strip in leather (chose option) OR, again, it "somehow" turned out to be in leather ? Because, I think that if you did not ask for it, this strip should stay metal/shiny by default.
And, please, post some more nice (and, please, of much better quality) pictures of your car - outside and inside. Rare car, indeed. Thank you !

i believe what is causing the leather and the metal finish on the door handle is "Z27012 911 leather door handle" this came up while stiching my red interior with black on my white boxster S, i only knew what it is once i saw the door handles on this car, at the time the sales rep and me didn;t know what is that for, i t was 220$ i believe.
i am much happier now!

Another 'Riviera Blue' 981S pops up!
This is interesting. Sunset just posted a PTS 'Riviera Blue' 981S for sale. Apparently ordered on spec. $90K MSRP.
2013 Porsche Boxster S ExterPaint to Sample Non-Metal | Beaverton, Oregon | Sunset Imports
Not as nice as Graham's, but it's a 'Riviera Blue'...and available for purchase right now!

Love the painted roll hoop on that car.
Interesting fact about my car. Really its an over 100k sticker car. Porsche made a couple mistakes and DIDNT charge me for a few things! Kinda funny, but I got my interior trim painted free, as well as a carbon steering wheel and a few other small items. Found that somewhat funny.

Graham: PAG is counting pennies now a days, especially since the bean-counters at VW are in charge! Let's be realistic. You got a special early allocation of the 981S because they consider you a VIP! And someone they would like to be associated with their brand! The 'free stuff' was not a mistake or an oversight! Consider the 'Rahal' discount! That is fine. PAG will get value for the fact that people will note that you have purchased a 981 and drive one of their sport cars! It's pretty interesting that, with all the choices currently available, someone with your background has decided to invest on a 981S. That tells me a lot - and it's all positive - about the 981S! And others will get the same message. They are getting their money's worth for their discount, I would think!

I understand. I dont like to think Porsche has done anything special for me, as I look at myself as just another car nut. But the 981S is spectacular, as is my Cayenne GTS. Honestly the Porsche product is incredible right now. I just find the 981 to be very rewarding to drive, very direct, and tons of fun. Its a drivers car, the 991 has become a moms car in my opinion. Its too plush, its too easy to drive, its fast and goes well, but its lost some of its soul I think.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you all know my fully spec'd out Boxster S is for sale if anyone is interested. I am not dying to sell it, but I originally ordered it for my girlfriend to drive, and now she has a new Range Rover and is scared to drive the Boxster haha. Anyways, I have driven the car myself the past few days and absolutely love it, however I have 8 cars for myself, and if I had to chose between my Boxster and my 800 HP C63 Black Series, I think you know which I would pick!
Let me know if anyone is interested. 95k and change MSRP, would be looking for lets say 90k.
