New Cayman S Owner

Nice car! There are alot of great cleaning products out there, and some specifically for certain color finishes.
One of my favorites is 3M hand glaze. This really helps restore finish, and add incredible depth of shine. Works best with any wax stripped off and applied in small area's at a time only. ( Pizza box size)
Hey just to note: I just sold a set of Lobster claw wheels with TPMS off an 08 Carrera for 1500US

New wheels on :
parts getting ready to be fitted still.
The spoiler is on but test fitted, needs to come off to be painted red.

(note spoiler needs to be adjust up to stop it touching the rear arches)

Can someone tell me with honesty..
does the rear spoiler look a little stupid regardless of color..

With the possible exception of the new Boxster, the Cayman is the best designed car in the Porsche linup with wonderful, flowing lines. In my (not-so-humble) opinion, it's a no-no to disrupt those lines with a spoiler like that. The original Cayman R spoiler is better as far as fixed spoilers go.
We all have different tastes, but when it comes to car design, I tend to look at the big picture, not at singular details. I want everything to come together, as one unit. There must be balance and harmony in the overall design. When something looks like an afterthought, like a huge spoiler, it destroys that harmony. It's obvious to everyone that the Porsche designers didn't put it there, it looks added.
Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth (Which is about 2 cents, plus tax, currency fluctuations not taken into account
)

Thanks for the comments,
The alloys have grown on me alot, I will put some spacers on there and lower it to give it a better stance.
I have been debating about having the car vinyl wrapped in a matte black or gloss white.
Opinions?
thanks
Chris
