Another great review by Mr Harris. I agree 110% with the button e-brake! Porsche looks like they hit a home run with this.

Nice review. I will need to drive the new 981 myself. When I test drove the 987, I think the car was capable but too small. I would proabably prefer a 991 still. We will see.

I would just pass over any review of a Boxster, but one by CH will always get my attention.
Wonder why Porsche opted for the traditional 6 speed vs. the 7 in the 991?

As far as the e-brake, I'm glad there's yet one more thing on my 997 that makes me NOT want a 991.

The only review I was waiting for and it didn't disappoint.
Strangely I find myself wanting a Boxster.

Cost!

Boxsters have a lower profit margin, Porsche wants to cut the cost by using the 6 speed.
The 7 speed is actually the PDK with just one clutch. More expensive, but the high profit margin on a 911 can carry it.

The real mystery is why they charge such a premium for the PDK on a 991... that's one very expensive extra clutch...
